About Tula The Label

Tūla the Label started from something simple: the need for comfortable, beautiful clothes made with care — not just care for the person wearing them, but care for the people making them too.

We work closely with women in India who are upskilling in tailoring through Ammachi Labs — an empowerment program focused on building confidence, income, and independence through hands-on training. Every piece is made slowly, often in small batches, stitched by women building new skills and futures.

Tūla is rooted in India and reimagined in Australia. Our garments are made from natural fibres, with timeless, functional designs. There’s no studio, no big factory. Just a loom, a sewing machine, and a shared intention: to honour every hand involved in the process.
